  Seminars,  Workshops  &  Industrial  Visits :
Seminars & workshops take students extra mile in the search of quality subject knowledge. SCPS organzes regular Seminars, Workshops and Training Programs aiming at the specified subject knowledge of teh specialized kind. The typical questions and doubts are discussed openly to seek the answers through the seminars & workshops.
The SCPS has taken initiative to train the teachers in order to maintain and improve the quality and the standart of teaching learning processes. The help of expert trainers are selected for providing quality skill development program. These programs add quality to the teachers which in turn reflect on the student community of our institution.
Regular industrial visits are organized to expose students to the real life working environment of todays industry. They are provided with the opportunity to explore the learning methods of tomorrow's industrial environment. These activities adds the technical know how of the functioning of the industry.
Training & Placement department organizes regular training programs which involves mock interviews, workshop on making of resumes & writing of applications. Students are also made aware about the requirement & expectations of the eminent companies nationally & internationally. These activities add to the overall quality of student and enhances their chance of employment.

  SPORTS :
As our regular health care facility, the activities of outdoor & indoor games & sports provide an environment to keep oneself healthy. The institute organizes many state level tournaments, the most eminent out of them is the SCPS Twenty-20 Cricket Tournament which is sponsored by SCPS and organized at Capt. Roop Singh Stadium, a venue for the International Cricket Tournaments.
The sports activities contribute to the overall development of the students, it encourages students to work in a team for a common goal. Subject experts are appointed to provide training of Yoga & Aerobics to boys & girls as per the choice of their chosen activity.
